Lowcountry Insta-Inspiration!

Posted on 02 June 2016

Since making home here in Charleston, The Hidden Countship, is constantly seeking out information & invigoration via Instagram. Not only do we use it as a tool to stay more aware and informed for our clients, but also to stay inspired by the beauty of the Lowcountry's traditions, cuisine, scenery, and events.

Here's a sampling of the Instagrams we have found that never disappoint, brought to you by big league publishers/producers who have made an impact on promoting the best this region has to offer.

Spoleto Festival

Tis the season! The Spoleto Festival has officially started and the air Charleston is once again filled with music, art, and excitement! To help keep this sense of anticipation alive while staying in-the-know, we've kept our beloved festival in our feeds. Not only does it help us relive memories of past artistic glories but there's also a behind the scenes look at the work it takes to pull off such extravagance.

Charleston Mag:

A Charleston staple since 1975, Charleston Mag’s instagram is a wonderful curation of all things Lowcountry. We fall deeper in love with our chosen city thanks to their fine editorial work and social media presence. Expect reflections of Charleston’s “people, culture, traditions, architecture, & natural beauty.” Also be sure to submit yourself to their photo contest!

The Scout Guide:

With over 60 locations worldwide, The Scout Guide brings the best of the best of small and local business into a single tour guide. Whether peeking at behind the scenes moments from photo shoots, or seeing featured quality retailers from across the country, TSG has got you and your shopping while traveling covered!

The Local Palate:

Caution: Your food cravings may unexpectedly spike. @TheLocalPalate is “all southern food, all the time.” Their features of cocktails, BBQs, seafood, and desserts (our favorite) has emboldened our adopted southern pride while coincidentally inspired our stomaches to roar.

Garden and Gun:

There may be no combination or name more inherently southern than Garden & Gun. Offering the most chic editorial eye their feed is full of food, nature, music, style - and most importantly - dogs!

While your insta-interest are piqued, we also invite you to discover the joys of fine Italian living by following The Hidden Countship.
